Storage on your device

Evästekäytäntö

Cookies ja similar technologies help us keep you signed in, remember lightweight preferences, ja protect the service from abuse. This page describes what we use today, why it exists, ja how you can shape your own choices in the browser.

What we mean by "cookies"

Besides classic HTTP cookies, we may use comparable technologies such as local storage, session storage, or service worker caches when they help the product function. For readability, this policy uses "cookies" to refer to the whole family unless we call out a specific mechanism.

Kategoriat we use

Strictly necessary

Required for security ja core navigation—for example session tokens that keep you logged in, CSRF protections, load balancing flags, or a short-lived cookie that proves you completed a bot check. These cannot be switched off inside our UI without breaking sign-in or submissions.

Functional

Remembers choices you make in the valinta or interface—such as dismissing a banner, compact vs comfortable density, or a cookie consent state—so the site does not feel like groundhog day on every visit.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate usage (for example popular pages, device categories, ja coarse geography). Google may set cookies such as_ga on our domain. See Google's Tietosuojakäytäntö. Where your jurisdiction requires consent for non-essential analytics, use your browser or an opt-out tool until we ship an on-site consent control.

Third-party sign-in

When you authenticate with a provider such as Google, that provider may set or read its own cookies according to its policies. We do not control those cookies; review the provider's help center for controls ja retention.

How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close the browser (unless you restore a session). Persistent cookies carry an expiry date set by us or a vendor—often between a few days ja twelve months for functional preferences, ja shorter for security pivots.

Your controls

  • Browser settings let you block or delete cookies site-by-site; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.
  • Private / incognito windows start with a clean slate each session—useful for testing, less convenient for long-lived saves.
  • Industry opt-out pages apply chiefly to interest-based advertising; we do not run behavioral ads on this property today.

Updates

When we introduce a new category (for example optional analytics with consent), we will update this page ja the "Last updated" date. Major changes may also appear in an on-site banner.
