No. Collections are curated editorial lists. Official-style structured groups such as starters and legendaries live under Pokémon Categories.

Animal tags come from a reviewed, versioned classification. Each assignment has a membership level (Core, Inspired, or Disputed) and a short reason. Published animal pages and the Mixer default to Core unless you include Inspired.

Color collections use each species’ editorial primary color from the Collections dataset, based on PokeAPI color with limited editorial overrides—not shiny forms or fan palettes.

Core means clear inspiration for that tag. Inspired means meaningful but mixed evidence. Disputed means a common fan reading with real ambiguity. These levels describe confidence, not official types. Disputed stays out of Mixer V1.

Yes. A species can have an animal tag, a primary color, and aesthetic tiers at once. The Collection Mixer intersects those dimensions on the hub without creating a separate SEO page for every combination.

No. Cute and Cool come from an editorial aesthetic seed (top tiers such as iconic and very-cute / very-cool). They are exploration filters, not official or objective rankings, and they are not published as standalone ranking pages yet.
